    • Why?
      • Because of His Deity (John 10:17)
      • It had been promised (Psalm 16)
      • Jesus had paid the price (Thomas Watson)
      • Due to the office he bears (Hebrews 7:17)
      • Because God is just (Romans 6:23)
  3. All about the resurrection
    • The Psalms point forward
    • Peter proclaims at Pentecost
    • God has made him both Lord and Christ
    • We should always be focused on the Cross
  4. The great enemy is defeated
    • The Victory is sure in the Resurrected Lord
    • 1 Corinthians 15; 1 John 1:9; Revelation 22
    • What do the prophets. David, Peter, the Word say? Turn to the Saviour, There is Victory in Him
